Engineering Manager - International E&P Company - Gabon

To manage and lead the engineering team for both onshore and offshore projects

Description

Based in Gabon, the Engineering Manager will be a key player in the running of the Facilities Engineering Department where the objective will be to lead and mentor the multi-disciplinary engineering team in the following areas:

• Responsible for cost-effective execution of engineering, design & construction of civils, facilities, pipelines & flowlines.
• Approving and checking in-house and contracted studies and engineering & construction work.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have considerable relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, full knowledge of project execution and engineering management, experience in a French West African working environment and upstream Oil & Gas engineering facilities managementexperience. Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal, for technical and managerial issues, both inside and outside the company) is essential.

Qualifications

BSc level degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline i.e. Process, Mechanical, Structural or Civil.
