Renewable Energy Partner - Birmingham/Bristol

Our client is a top 100 UK firm with offices in the Midlands and South West, 88 partners and over 600 employees.  The renewable energy team is led by an experienced partner and incorporates two additional partners, one with construction expertise and the other with a planning and environment background.

Our client wishes to continue to develop its reputation and capability for renewable energy work by recruiting a senior lawyer, at partner level, to join its dynamic and highly ambitious renewable energy team.  In particular, the firm wishes to enhance its capability to provide commercial, environmental and/or regulatory advice in relation to renewable energy including wind, waste-to-energy and biofuels projects. In particular the firm seeks additional expertise in acquisitions, disposals, portfolio management, power purchase agreements, offtake agreements and possibly emissions trading and climate change matters.
