Michael Cripps

Educated in the UK, Michael Cripps read sciences and business studies. Mike developed an early career in industrial management before moving into recruitment.

Mike formed Cripps Sears whilst still in his 20's and has since developed his international search career to focus primarily on the energy, energy finance and the financial / legal sectors. He is active globally but particularly in the EAME region and is supported by a specialist team.

Having recently recruited successfully for a number of positions at MD / Regional /Board Director level, Mike is also involved at the Senior Commercial Originator / Trader / Business Developer / Financial Specialist levels, as well as many Senior Technical positions.

Andrew Somerville

Andrew is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and began his career as a practising Barrister before specialising in tax with KPMG. He has over eleven years search experience within the professions and industry in the UK and overseas. He leads the Legal Practice Group, recruiting merger partners, specialist teams, heads of department and senior lawyers across most areas of private practice.

Andrew also integrates his legal focus with those of our other practice groups, maintaining a network of specialist in-house lawyers particularly in energy, project finance, financial services, and real estate.

Andrew is currently juggling his professional commitments with those of his young family and part-time studies for his MBA.

Andrew was recently named by Executive Grapevine Magazine as one of the UK's 'Forty under Forty' executive search consultants.

Nicola Dennes

Nicola joined Cripps Sears & Partners with over eight years recruitment experience gained with two of the top international recruitment companies. She has worked both in the UK and internationally in professional services, focusing in the Legal sector for the last four years. Nicola forms an integral part of the Cripps Sears & Partners Legal team, which provides executive search services for both private practice and in-house clients.

Nicola has a Business Degree, and has herself been immersed in an entrepreneurial environment from a young age with her father running a small and extremely successful business based in the South East of England.

Nicola is a keen sportswoman and competes in triathlons, running events, and is an active member of British Military Fitness. She enjoys challenges and in 2006 raised over £3,000 for The Princes Trust by participating in a five day running and cycling endurance event in the Sahara.

Martin Warner

Martin leads the Technology, Media and Telecoms practice, supporting clients across the UK and Europe.  He brings a 25-year track record of delivering key appointments in the TMT markets that exploit technology to deliver efficiencies, effectiveness or new business streams. This has lent itself to high-profile searches on behalf of public corporations, as well as leading pre-IPO and emerging companies. He has carried out numerous searches across EMEA for Business leaders, Managers and domain experts.

In addition to the traditional technology-based product companies, Martin has worked extensively in Outsourcing, Professional Services, Management/Strategy Consulting and Business Advisory Services.

Amongst his many interests Martin enjoys sports, the arts and performing and recording Jazz classics.

Mark Scollay

Mark heads the Property and Construction Practice.  He has fifteen years' recruitment experience within the built environment sector, working with both UK and International clients.  He has successfully recruited for Property Development and Investment firms, Construction firms, Property Consultancies and Corporate Real Estate departments.  The property practice works closely with our legal and energy practices to provide a diverse and robust network amongst senior level contacts.

Mark started his career in property recruitment with a FTSE 250 company after graduating from Nottingham University.  Early in his career he successfully developed a new business in the emerging outsourcing/FM and PFI markets, leading him towards a client based increasingly focussed on development and construction.

Lucy Mackie

Lucy heads the Russia & CIS desk based in London. She has a Masters in Interpreting and Translating in French and Russian from Bath University. Lucy has lived and worked in Moscow.  Her experience spans a variety of professional, commercial and technical disciplines across the firm's core specialist sectors.  She focuses on mid to senior level assignments in the Russia and CIS region, predominantly in the energy, professional services, finance and property sectors.

Graham Spencer

Graham has search experience in energy, financial services and legal sectors and is part of the energy team. His body of work comprises executive, senior commercial and technical energy personnel from all over the world. Graham graduated with honours in politics and philosophy from The University of Reading and in his spare time, he enjoys flying, fencing, golf and travelling.

James Nichols

James joined Cripps Sears from the Accountancy profession. He focuses on the delivery of executive search assignments within the Energy sector, with particular experience on commercial, technical and operational roles. James also has previous experience with a leading Financial Services executive search firm. James is a business graduate and his interests include cars and sports such as football, rugby and cricket. He recently completed the London Marathon for the first time.

Craig Moran

Craig holds a degree in Commerce (honours) from Monash University. Previously based in Melbourne, Craig has been engaged in executive search and selection for a range of global clients. His experience spans across the mining & resources and engineering & construction industries, having worked on technical, commercial and senior management roles.

Panny Skrivanos

Panny is a graduate of the University of Exeter where he read French and Russian. After having gained valuable experience of international Executive Search in the Property sector with a FTSE 250 recruitment company, he joined Cripps Sears and Partners to focus on the Legal and Property Practice Groups and to contribute to the continued development of the Russia & CIS desk with his language skills. Panny is a keen amateur dramatist and enjoys theatre, travel and playing the guitar.
