General Manager, Global Business Development

One of the World's leading Power and Gas companies is looking for a general business manager to significantly drive the company's E& P business particularly in their newly targeted growth areas: North/West Africa and the Middle East.

The appointee will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, lead integrated teams in the evaluation and assessment of these and to further develop relationships with relevant commercial contacts within governments/ government organisations, potential E&P partners, regional representatives, banks, lawyers and intermediaries.
 
Strong knowledge of the E&P sector in these regions and exposure to significant gas transactions and the LNG environment are essential for this role as are strong commercial, business development and negotiating competencies.

The ideal candidate will possess integrity, a track record of achievements in E&P Business Development activities and preferably have lived and worked in one of the New Areas countries or at least be very familiar and be comfortable with this area, including cultural and political aspects.
