Job Emphasis - To identify and develop opportunities for building merchant waste treatment and renewable energy facilities and to manage the execution and implementation of opportunities.

Merchant waste and renewable energy facilities are developed on a bespoke basis without tightly defined technical criteria, guaranteed input streams or guaranteed revenues; thus a more entrepreneurial mindset is required for their development.  The emphasis of the role is three-fold: 1. to identify and develop new opportunities and create a pipeline of potential new projects; 2.  to critically assess prospective projects, selecting those for recommendation, bringing in the most suitable project partners  in order to develop a compelling project plan; 3. to secure approval and funding in order to execute and implement the project plan.
