Client Services Director

The business is a well respected international engineering company with a strong reputation in assisting clients to deliver on projects of national importance.  They operate across several key infrastructure sectors including transport, built environment and power/energy.  Currently advising several governments on power supply for the future and particularly new build power projects

Location - South Africa

Job emphasis - The overall purpose of the role is to ensure a multi billion dollar project is completed, thus securing the company's position and creating opportunities for more work.

To achieve this objective there are three important competences required:
1. Management experience at board level
2. Client relationship development with Government owned/parastatal organisations
3. Complete understanding of major project execution plans

You will be fully P&L accountable to the international board for the resourcing and delivery of the project.  An established team of programme project managers and professional engineers will deliver the project, supported by the full compliment of HR, Finance, QHSE and IT are provided.

Experience - The person will have the appropriate level of commercial and technical experience to run such critical projects.   Importantly they will have a level of toughness in managing challenging clients in an international environment.
Experience of power related projects would be advantageous, although energy, oil and gas projects would be considered strongly

Qualifications - Degree qualified in Engineering or Construction.
